On 17 August 2015, Townsend Fire Company participated in an interstate water tender operations drill, at the Winterthur Museum grounds, in Greenville Delaware. Using Tanker 26, crews shuttled water from a draft sight to ponds, where several support engines were flowing master streams during the drill. All in all, there were over twenty apparatus and 200 people involved in the drill. A great learning experience for all. Thanks to the Hockessin Fire Company for sponsoring the drill.
