At 2334 hours, The Townsend Fire Company (Station 26) was dispatched to a 29B1- MVC. Ambulances B26 and C26 each responded with a crew of 2, and Rescue 26 responded with a crew of 4. Units arrived to find a single vehicle crash, where the vehicle had left the roadway, contacting and uprooting several trees. Rescue 26's crew checked the vehicle for hazards and assisted C26 with packaging 1 patient. C26 transported 1 patient to Middletown ED for evaluation and Command (268B) placed the scene under control, making B26 available. Units returned after taking up.
