At 1541 hours on July 10th, The Townsend Fire Company (Station 26) was dispatched to a 29D5- MVC-Not Alert. Ambulances B26, C26 and B27 (Volunteer Hose Co.) each responded with a crew of 2, and Rescue 26 responded with a crew of 4. Units arrived to find 2 vehicles scattered throughout the intersection. The ambulance crews immediately started triage, identifing 3 patients. Rescue 26's crew checked the vehicles for hazards and assisted with patient packaging. The patients were packaged and transported to Middletown ED for evaluation by B26 and B27. C26 handled 1 refusal of service. Command (268) placed the scene under control and units returned after taking up.
