Upon our arrival, 26-8 reported a truck vs a tree with the sole occupant laying on the ground beside it. Crews worked with a chainsaw to chop down small trees to gain access to the patient. There was also gas leaking from the vehicle so a booster reel was pulled off the Rescue Engine. The patient was taken to B26 and assessed by B26 and Medic 5 before being flown by Trooper 4 to Christiana Hospital. The scene was turned over to The Delaware State Police and 26 unit’s cleared the scene.
