On Sunday June 14th @ 0825 Station 26 was alerted to an MVC ith overturned vehicle at 620 Grears Corner Rd. While enroute Fireboard redispatched incident with multiple sunjects trapped and wires down. This added RE 27 from Middletown. Upon arrival of RE 26 (Asst Choef Kyle Brown) crews found a van overturned with one adult subject trapped, with wires down but not touching the vehicle. Crews carefully began extracation. Squad 26 (Deptuy Chief Leonard Wallace) arrivd and assisted with extracation of victim. Fire Chief (raymond Clark) arrived and assumed command.  During the process victim was altered and advised a child was with him. Engine 26 (Firefighter Samantha Clark) and RE 27 (Deputy Chief Shawn Mullins) arrived and were directed to search fields. The victim was placed in C-26 for evaluation and transported by Trooper 4. With the extended ETA of Delmarva, Command requested to have power grid for the area shut down so the van could be turned over. Delmarva complied and killed the grid. DSP was sent to the residents home where child was found safe. Scene was placed under control. Crews cleared scene at 1125 after extensive clean up.
