On April 30th @ 1230 hours the Townsend Fire Company was dispatched to a large outside fire with exposures. Upon arrival of 26-0 a multi acre woods and field fire was found. Also a storage trailer full of carpet and oil was found fully involved. Crews from 26-0 pulled a booster line and started to extinguish the woods and field fire. Upon arrival of Tanker 26 the OIC had them lay a four inch supply line up the lane. Crew from Tanker 26 then pulled a inch and three quarter line and started to extinguish storage trailer. An additional brush truck and engine was requested by OIC. Upon arrival of Brush 45 thier crew pulled a booster and forestry line and assisted with firein field and woods. Squad 26 arrived and there mask crew assisted with the fire in the storage trailer. OIC then called for an additional engine out of 45 and Tanker out of 44 with both units being used for water supply. Firefighter Jeff Lightcap had Townsend Command.
