Residential/Structure Fire - Dupont Parkway
Station 26 was dispatched for a residential structure fire. On arrival D-24 had fire from the roof. 26-8B arrived and assumed command. Engine 26 arrived, laid a 4 inch supply line and deployed an 1 3/4 inch hand line and attacked fire through the front door. Tanker 26 picked up supply line and supplied the engine. Crews from RE26 and Tower 27 made access through the garage doors and preformed primary and secondary searches. All where negative. Engine 275 took the RIT assignment. D-24 established a manpower pool for incoming units. Additional hand lines were placed into service. Crews from Sta 29, 44, and 45 handled overhaul. 29 Capt-1 handled accountability.Scene was placed under control. FM united cleared the building and extensive overhaul was preformed. Scene was turned over to the homeowners. Stations responding were 26, 27, 4-24, 44, 45. Units covering Engine 15 at 26, Squad 6 at 4, and Ladder 28 at 27.
