Upon arrival of Townsend Fire Company one person was found still seat belted and suspended upside down on the July 17, 2013 accident on Rt. 1 southbound at blackbird creek. The patient was quickly extricated and transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition. Witnesses on scene say the vehicle lost control and rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof. State Police are investigating the incident.
