on 11/23/10 at aprox. 03:32 hrs, Sta. 26,1&27 and 4&24 were alerted for a residential fire in the 1100 block of East Founds St. Townsend Village 2 West. Rescue 26 went responding moments after along with tower 27. fire board had advised that a firefighter was on scene confirming fire showing. the call was then upgraded to a working alarm adding sta. 44,and sta.45 for the RIT assignment. Rescue 26 went arrival with a single family dwelling fully involved and crews from rescue had began fire attack. 3 attack lines were placed in service including 2-1 3/4" attack lines and a 2 1/2" blitz line and began attacking the fire. tower 27 had arrived moments after and was assigned to set up the master stream and place it in service. crews from Odessa, middletown, Clayton, and Smyrna aided with overhaul. the scene was placed under control at 04:02 hrs. units on scene: Rescue 26,Engine 26-2,Engine 26-3, A 26,utility 26,Tower 27,Engine 27-5,Engine 1-6 ,utility 27 with air unit,B-1,Tanker 24,Engine 24-3,Rescue 45,Ladder 44,Engine 44-3,FM 20,and Medic 5. Sta.26 units were on scene for about 2hrs.
