Engine 26-1
26-1 is a 1946 Chevrolet Fire Apparatus chassis. It features a 250 G.P.M. pump, 500 Gal. booster tank. This pumper is equipped with 100 Ft. of 3 in. soft jacket hose in dead lay, a 200 Ft. of 1 1/4 in. hard jacket booster hose on a reel, 2- 10 Ft. lengths of4 in. hard sleeve suction hose, 38 Ft. in wood ground ladders, assorted nozzle tips, fire extinguisher, scene lights and structural hand tools, all restored to working condition, for display. 261 was an actual responding pumper for us and has only been owned by the department or one of it's members. Today 261 is on display in our fire education center/museum in the north corner of our building. She is our pride and joy.
