The Ladies Auxillary of the Townsend Fire Department play a very important role in the business of the Townsend Fire Department. Not only do they support the department with refreshments during working alarms, they assist on fire department committees, raise money to support fire department function and handle the management and catering of the memorial hall. The TFD LAX are a cherished group and are a piece of the backbone that makes the Townsend Fire Department.
